President Obama has begun his attack on Mitt Romney as the former head of Bain Capital. There a a number of problems with this attack. First, it’s HILARIOUS that Obama rails against private equity firms, then takes their money. But what’s more disturbing is the stupidity of his attacks. Even the former Car Czar says the attacks are unfair. Here’s what the Dems don’t get when the attack Wall Street, Banks, etc. Wall Street is investments, investments need to make money, nearly EVERYONE in this country is directly affected by the stock market. Why? Because nearly everyone has either a pension or a 401k, if the investments make money, YOU make money! The problem is the Average American is too dumb to figure that out, the just get all giggly over “Hope & Change”
Interesting quote from FDR of all people:
All Government employees should realize that the process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service. It has its distinct and insurmountable limitations when applied to public personnel management. The very nature and purposes of Government make it impossible for administrative officials to represent fully or to bind the employer in mutual discussions with Government employee organizations. The employer is the whole people, who speak by means of laws enacted by their representatives in Congress. Accordingly, administrative officials and employees alike are governed and guided, and in many instances restricted, by laws which establish policies, procedures, or rules in personnel matters.
Particularly, I want to emphasize my conviction that militant tactics have no place in the functions of any organization of Government employees. Upon employees in the Federal service rests the obligation to serve the whole people, whose interests and welfare require orderliness and continuity in the conduct of Government activities. This obligation is paramount. Since their own services have to do with the functioning of the Government, a strike of public employees manifests nothing less than an intent on their part to prevent or obstruct the operations of Government until their demands are satisfied. Such action, looking toward the paralysis of Government by those who have sworn to support it, is unthinkable and intolerable.
HMMMM how can the left attack THAT!
WOW 47 percent pay NO federal taxes:
About 47 percent will pay no federal income taxes at all for 2009. Either their incomes were too low, or they qualified for enough credits, deductions and exemptions to eliminate their liability. Thats according to projections by the Tax Policy Center, a Washington research organization.
Most people still are required to file returns by the April 15 deadline. The penalty for skipping it is limited to the amount of taxes owed, but its still almost always better to file: Thats the only way to get a refund of all the income taxes withheld by employers.
In recent years, credits for low- and middle-income families have grown so much that a family of four making as much as $50,000 will owe no federal income tax for 2009, as long as there are two children younger than 17, according to a separate analysis by the consulting firm Deloitte Tax.
Tax cuts enacted in the past decade have been generous to wealthy taxpayers, too, making them a target for President Barack Obama and Democrats in Congress. Less noticed were tax cuts for low- and middle-income families, which were expanded when Obama signed the massive economic recovery package last year.
The result is a tax system that exempts almost half the country from paying for programs that benefit everyone, including national defense, public safety, infrastructure and education. It is a system in which the top 10 percent of earners — households making an average of $366,400 in 2006 — paid about 73 percent of the income taxes collected by the federal government.
The bottom 40 percent, on average, make a profit from the federal income tax, meaning they get more money in tax credits than they would otherwise owe in taxes. For those people, the government sends them a payment.
“We have 50 percent of people who are getting something for nothing,” said Curtis Dubay, senior tax policy analyst at the Heritage Foundation.
Yes, clearly the “rich” are not paying their fair share! Maybe the flat tax idea needs to come back, Steve Forbes where are you?

YEAH!!!! This is great news!!!! CNN poll: 52% say Obama doesn’t deserve reelection in 2012 .
But see what the delusional Chris Dodd says:
President Obama will be “re-elected overwhelmingly,” Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) confidently predicted today.
Appeaing on Imus in the Morning, Dodd rejected a comparison between Obama and Jimmy Carter and said Obama will be more politically successful.
“No, no, no. You’re wrong on that,” Dodd told Imus of the Carter comparison. “That’s a mark we’ll put it down. This man will be reelected and reelected overwhelmingly.”
So I wonder when the debate on health care is gonna be televised like President BO claimed would happen? I’d love to see what te inside of that witch Nancy Pelosi’s witches den looks like.
So it’s been a long time since I last posted. I go through moods….I’ll post more!!
